BIO

I graduated in August 2007 form the Statistics Department at the University of Washington (Seattle) with a Dissertation on the Bayesian analysis of Functional Data. In Seattle I worked mainly with my mentor Lurdes Inoue (UW Biostatistics) and with Ruth Etzioni (Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center).

In September 2007  I accepted a post-doctoral position in the department of Biostatistics at the University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. My main collaborators here in Houston are Peter Mueller and Don Berry.

My research is mainly focused on  dependent data and nonparametrics. Other areas of interest are  Decision Theory,  MCMC computation and Bioinformatics.
